Change Tab Shortcut
has been installed!

1. Pin extension for quick access:

How to use this extension?
1. Click extension icon and set unique Tab Key for selected tab

* Set Custom title for link if needed (by default title is open tab title)
2. Open any page and Press Alt + Q to show Switch Tabs Popup with saved Shortcuts

! Remember to reload page if changed links not shown in popup.

🤔 Popup is not shown?

1. Refresh page to ensure app script is loaded (might occur after first app installation)

2. Go to Extensions>Manage Extension>Keyboard Shortcuts page (chrome://extensions/shortcuts#:~:text=Change%20Tab%20Shortcut) and ensure that our app has assigned key-binding (Alt+Q/⌘+Q by default, but if it is taken by another app it needs to be configured manually)

3. Popup can`t be shown on system pages like chrome:// and so on, this is limitation of chrome browser. On these pages app will open special fallback page with Popup.

3. Want to open Previous Tab without Popup?

Default bindings: Cntrl + Q (Windows) / cmd ⌘ + К (MacBook)

* Can be changed in app Options (see below)
4. Need more customizations?

Right-Click on the extension icon:

  • View and Manage saved Shortcuts
  • Quick Access How To guides
  • Or go to App options

5. What options do we have?

  • Day\Night mode
  • Previous Tab Hotkey - key to open previously opened tab (from Popup or Global chrome shortcut)
  • Reload on Navigate - select if you want to automatically reload all tabs when open (by default it is enabled only when hold hotkey for 1sec)
  • Reopen Lost Tabs - If tab is closed and got lost, always re-open link using URL right from the Hotkeys Popup (default = false)
  • Max Keys in Popup - limit number of Keys show in popup
  • Order By - Control the order of Hotkeys in Popup (Most Used\Title\Key)
